Can your husband mediate and have them give you a small supply of the propanolol to use at your will? Obviously when they aren't drunk but also when they aren't trying to protect their child; hearing it from someone else who cares about you might help? I don't know. Maybe when you finally see the pdoc they can write out how much of each med you can have at once? That was part of my safety plan after leaving the hospital after going in with intent once. I was monitored in filling pill boxes and only allowed to have a certain amount of medication at once, especially anything that could hurt me.
