because of how the forum's set up, and because of how many notifications you might get at once (especially if someone replies to 4 of your subscribed threads at once), they don't do it- just the subscription tab like trippin said, or if you wanted to- you could open your inbox while brouzing the site, and when someone replies you'll get an email saying.. and you can go to that window and check.
