I took Naltrexone (Revia) for a while when I was stopping opiates. It never did anything for me, for alcohol cravings, but I know a few people who had huge success with it.
There's also Campral. I haven't tried it, as it's contraindicated if you have a history of depression, but again I know a few people who says it really helps them.
The third I know of is Gabapentin. It's prescribed more for marajuana cravings, but also helps some people with alcohol.
From my observation, it's a bit hit and miss when it comes to anti-craving meds as to what will work for a person.
For me, I take Antabuse (Disulfiram) That's the med that makes you violently ill if you drink on it. You have to be really committed to not drinking to take it, because if you do drink on it, you get really really sick (I know I tried). For me, my alcoholism is so bad that I need the disincentive to stay stopped. So far it's working for me.
