Hey everybody. I got prescribed gabapentin and took first dose last night. This morning, I feel "floaty". For lack of a better term. Just kind of spacey, a little silly (just a little), my attention seems drawn and lingering to stupid things. That sounds weird. Example: walking to bus, there was a noise (just a little nothing sound repeated a couple times), and I looked over and kept walking (usually, I'd just glance then pay attention to walking again).

I'm not worried about this, it just seems a little weird and I wondered if this sounds familiar to anyone. I looked up side effects, and they mentioned dizziness, problems with coordination and shakiness, tiredness, sleepiness (I really didn't want to get up, (but that's not exactly unusual, lol). None of these "quite" describe it.

The med bottle had a thing saying to carry info that you're taking it(!) I've never had one say that before, and I'm not really sure why this one does.

I'm not worried, so much as wondering if others have experienced this. Maybe it could be described as slightly punchy. (?)
