I've never smoked a pack of cigarettes a day. but i smoked spliffs, weed+tobaccoo, for about 6 years everyday. So i can relate a bit.
I would recommend also quitting with the green tea smokes, it's not only the addiction. It also has to do with giving your hands to do other stuff and just getting your mind off of it.When you're still smoking the green tea you're not going to kick the habit of smoking.
this might sound cliche aswell, but try to start sporting ( if you aren't already). It will help with the withdrawal symptoms. it'll be easier to fall asleep, stay asleep and not wake up drenched in sweat.
Drinking loads of tea and water helped me with my upset stomach.
The most important thing however is you finding another way to deal with the stress, sporting can help with that, but there are other things that help for each different individual. Are you creative? try drawing/writing/painting.
maybe something more calming, like a jigsaw, sudoku or maybe knitting if you're into that.
