I am in therapy for DID and am deathly afraid of seeing myself in another state of mind so I can understand what you mean. I don't know much about bi polar psychosis and how it is understood by people who experience it. I can't ask my son because he is not yet at a point where he understands how his bi polar affects his presentation. He will admit he has been diagnosed bi polar but if you ask him what that means he says he don't really know because he see no difference in his behavior. He says he feels better but he don't connect the feeling better with his state of mind.
