Dialectical Behavior Therapy is supposed to be very, very helpful for Borderline Personality. I was just talking to someone with BPD who did not respond well to meds since Personality Disorders tend to be tricky with meds (even though there's some overlapping symptoms with BPD and BP), but she did very well with DBT. There is a lot of research that talks about how effective this form of therapy is. Although it's hard to adjust to being re-diagnosed and misdiagnosed, this can be a great step towards being able to get treatment that works best for you. ((HUGS))
