I tend to get more "wired" rather than tired while hypomanic, but it's probably that I'm not noticing how tired my body is.....until it eventually catches up with me where it's impossible to ignore. I also noticed that I have the habit of not taking my "sleepy meds" on time when I'm hypomanic. I'll stay up all night since my mind is active and I don't want anything to get in the way of all my plans, feeling a pressure to stay up, so I'll take the meds at like 4-6 AM, if at all. Not good....but I'm not exactly reasonable when hypo/manic. Now that I have insight again, I'm trying to take care of myself by taking my PM meds at a reasonable time. I'm not fully stable, but it would be much, much worse if I delayed taking the meds.
