I don't think there is a diagnosis to give, other than normal college student As a college student myself, that would totally get on my nerves. You should remind your mom how lucky she is to have a college student who still enjoys spending quality time with her and helps out around the house. Most young adults that I know, including myself, would rather do anything but be stuck in the house with their parent(s).

Have you tried telling her that you don't like it when she makes comments that seem to be unnecessary and a little bit unreasonable, considering that it's summer vacation?
