i once took my whole lunch break to go home thinking i'd left the iron on...... i had not only turned it off but unplugged it and put it in the bathtub (you know, just in case it was still hot). i went and took the pc ocd quiz a little while ago and scored like a 22....so maybe she's right....... i just never thought of my checking/worrying as anything more than, well, checking and worrying....... and i always thought of ocd as like the germophobia and closing doors multiple times and stuff. the extreme cases i guess.
that's so funny...... i talked to my best friend earlier and when i told him i met with the pdoc on halloween the first thing he said was "are you gonna wear a costume?" maybe i should, as long as i don't decide to go as a mental patient.....wouldn't want the folks at the mhc to get the wrong idea, lol....
