I am sorry for your frustration. Unfortunately when MI rears it's ugly head things never go as planned. I love how patient my husband is with me when I go through my mood changes and that support is much needed. The 18th is a little way off so try your best to be patient and understanding. I would just let him rest and give him time. One thing to remember with BP, in time all things will pass. Unfortunately when having an episode this is hard to believe and it leaves feelings of desperation. Try and be forgiving of his meltdown cause sometimes one cannot get past certain emotions, BP can be very disabling. Sorry I am not much help on alleviating your frustrations, but it is good you have a place to voice them. Dealing with a person with MI can be just as hard as the person going through it. I have a daughter that has an MI as well and watching her go through her phases and the choices she makes is very difficult. She has a very self-destructive personality and unfortunately she thinks she can manage on her own. All I can do is be here when things fall apart and the dark times come.
