Wow, Eskielover... that sounds amazing! You didn't do any kind of preparation or research? How did you decide where to move to? Were you worried about supporting yourself in a new place?

That's great that everything turned out so fabulous though!

The AC guy came today. The guy is the rude woman's husband, but he's always been very courteous and soft spoken. He took some things apart and checked the motor and wiring, and told me that everything is fine... he's not sure what I'm smelling, but doesn't think there's an actual problem. He said something (I'm not sure if I understood) about how the intake ducts are all connected (across the townhouses) and it's possible that I'm getting a smell from one of the homes next to me... but that doesn't seem likely to me, since it was very much a *burning* smell. So, I don't know.

Thankfully, if I turn the AC off for a few hours, it's fine when I turn it back on.

I really do wish that I could move. This townhouse is really old... it's the first home that I've purchased, so I didn't really know what to look for when I got it. It's kind of a mess.

And the therapist hasn't emailed me back yet... which is freaking me out. He usually emails back within a couple hours, he's *very* good about that. Ugh... I'm trying to be patient, and hope everything's OK.
