I also understand the depth of your paralyzing depression.
I am sorry you must encounter such severe depression.
Mine has been very treatment-resistant until I've agreed to try to Generation 2 anti-psychotics, aka Atypicals. This has helped me so much!

Why not print out exactly what you've told us?

I've had a problem getting all of the info to my pdoc, as he stops me in the middle to ask questions. I finally wrote it all down and gave it to him. In a flash, he had all of the info and a bigger picture as well.

I hope your husband will learn all about BP-II depression so he can support you.
