BunYip, I think I'm about to be in the same boat (car?) as you. My truck started violently shaking this morning while I was driving. It feels and sounds like a flat tire, but there aren't any flat tires. Symptoms indicate many things, from a stuck emergency brake cable to many suspension components being broken. Consensus says get it to the shop pronto. My wallet says "drive it til the wheels fall off."

All that to say I'm sorry to hear about your extra costs at the shop. I hope you get your freedom back again soon!!
