is why I'm posting here.

I'm not in the habit of talking to the spirits, not even those of my mom and dad, but I've had two strange experiences in the last few weeks and I'd like your opinions.

A couple of weeks ago, when I found out about my kidneys failing, I "started setting my business in order", I even made out my AMD. One night, I was talking to my mom and said something about her coming to get me at "that moment." Just as clearly as if she'd been in the room, I heard her say "Not yet." She has NEVER spoken to me before or made herself felt.

Yesterday I was fussing with a huge lemon grass plant that I have, mostly in honor of my dad. There's no love lost there... maybe just a connection to my roots? I was unsure as to how much to clip off, whether to thin it our or what. More of a joke than anything, I said, "Ok, dad. What do I do with this thing? I have it because of you." Again, just as quick as that and as clear as you please, "Then don't have it!!"

I'm not at all surprised at the tone I heard; half angry half annoyed. LOL I responded by repeating something he used to say, in essence "go to hell" but it's not the word for hell. He responded "I am!" I'm sorry. It just struck me funny and still does.

My mom was right when she said "not yet." My dad? Whatever! LOL

Do ya'll think they are REALLY talking to me or is it a subconscious wish on my part??
