Linda, that's not as bad as the drive-up bank ATM's that have braille buttons! I've seen those too, not just rumor. But apparently you could have a passenger who is blind and wants to control their own bank account/look at the menu, etc.
Recently I heard a news story that blind people are having trouble with the hybrid/electric cars when they cross the street because they are so quiet!
