1. Technically, we don't delete most things on the forums immediately, in case a person changes their mind or it's something that the entire team should review. So it is moved to an administrative area on the website that members don't have access to.

2. I'd love to change the error message, but sadly they used the same error message for about a dozen different possible actions that are all basically, "you don't have privileges to access this page you're trying to get to." We'll see if we can't temper it a bit regardless. Sorry about that.
