A wonderful friend of mine has invited me to a relatives wedding. They are Sikhs, and I am expected to buy a Sari, (or similar) for the occasion. I'm really excited about this, as I have worn a Sari once before and I felt so beautiful and feminine in it. Unfortunately that time I wore a Sari, it was part of a Live Roleplay weekend and I was dressed up and acting as a post apocalyptic salamander at the time! The Sari was ruined after a weekend of running around in the mud and swinging from the trees for the weekend!

I really want to impress my friend, and show respect to her relatives, but Im as white and unreliegious as it gets. Can anyone offer any advice on what kind of outfit I should be buying, are there any colours I should go for (or avoid), and is there anything else I should be aware of? I have absolutely no idea what is expected of wedding guests, so any and all advice greatly appreciated!
