When would you go and how long would you stay? A week or less shouldn't interrupt with college, right? Could you go before classes start?

It sounds like you could handle the adult unit. There will be some people more sick than you and some less. If you've been in the adolescent unit before then you can handle it. It's really not so bad. When I went I just found a couple of older ladies and talked with them the whole time (I'm 26) and it worked out great.
