I'm very low income but I go on book binges, just gotta get this one or that one they are the expensive nonfiction books about whatever subject has caught hold of me. I've a bunch of books about the De Medici's, a bunch on creation and folk stories, a bunch on symbols and their meanings, a bunch of ancient history and more on goddesses. I get caught up on one subject and go on a research binge. It would be great if the mania lasted long enough and if I had the attention to retain everything...but in the end I have a bunch of expensive half read, very highlighted non fiction books and a spotty memory of the subject.
