I took it as more Women Who Run With the Wolves sort of thing, not getting mani pedis, but something deeper--like what you find in your therapy relationship, only bigger and more real life.

I generally hate gender stereotypes, so I appreciate Crocus' view on this. My therapist suggested a doctor for me, and after I looked this person up, I blew a gasket over the way the practice catered to a specific idea of woman that I find alienating.
