My wife goes into my appts with me unless I ask her not to come in. She respects my decision and we leave it at that. I prefer to have her there with me because she can give an outsider's prospective and give an honest description of what she see's or doesn't see. It's different when it's coming from me because I don't always see the mood changes until it's too late, if at all.
