Twice I've seen a therapist recommended by the one I was seeing at the time. The first time my therapust joined the peace Corp at 70 years old! She brought the therapust she was recommending to a couple of our sessions. I really liked the new therapist and saw her for a year. Then my current therapist was recommended to me by a therapist I was seeing to help me with my relationship with another therapist. I terminated with the therapist I was having issues with and then the 2nd therapust recommended her own therapist to me as she was more experienced with trauma. I've been seeing her for 2.5 years and she is amazing.
