So sorry this is happening to your family.
Social Services seems to be exempt from any laws or regulations...it's just plain awful, esp. when so many good parents who have some issues but nothing that should warrant a child removed from custody are put under attack. ...I look around and see so many awful parents doing terrible thing to and around their kids and it make me want to cry, bc I will never understand how ppl like that manage to avoid DCF, yet decent loving people who do their best daily to love and raise their children are persecuted
