I am buying gold rings that at some time ment something to someone, broken dreams if you will, not for there monetary value, does that make me a predator?

They mean nothing to me other than scrap; does that make me a collector of broken dreams or aspirations or just a future collector? The line is so blurred that there is no definition, am I collecting dreams or the pain that comes with rejection to justify my own?

I mean logically not one of the rings I bought will ever fit any of my fingers so I am unlikely to wear them and the thought of giving then to someone else repulses me...
