Walking is great exercise. I was much thinner when I would take those long walks. There were times I'd walk a mile one way just for a cup of coffee and sipped it on the way back. I lost a lot of weight just by walking. I am a tubby now. I plan to start walking again, when the temps fall to the 50's. Seems the older I get the less tolerant I am of "heat". So I enjoy those crisp, cool fall walks....
