The reason my mom mentioned she knows a secret is because I was telling her about how it's hard for me to hold other peoples' secrets and I wanted advice on how to deal with it. She told me she has secrets about my aunts to help me feel like it's normal and something everyone deals with. She wasn't trying to control anything.
