---this is not good news to me. I really want to go on lamictal in october, but i have heard it can cause weight gain too. I am single and do not want to cope with unwise relationships threatening my stability. i want to go on lamictal because antidepressants allow me to kick up into hypomanic.
sounds like you are still getting manicky which would be my whole reason for taking it. No, psych meds do not always depress the sex drive. One of the biggest problems in treating bipolars is that when some of them , especially antidepressants, rev you up out of depression, they can push you up too high, then suddenly u are a hypomanic or manic love machine!
The dosages in one's meds cocktail are apparently a huge factor.
