Have you tried a good cardiovascular exercise like brisk walking or other exercise? That was the only thing I tried that worked. Bike riding was also very good when I was able to get my bike downstairs in an elevator. And swimming was also really good.
ETA also, producing something as an art also works. I used to get a rush of euphoria evey time I wrote a song or a poem, or did a water painting.
