I don't understand how he was able to get away with not taking his meds for six months. Wouldn't a nurse have noticed after the first couple of days?! They watch you like a hawk in places like that. Also, pills randomly on the floor? How could they not notice him spitting them out? He should have waited and flushed them instead. That would be more believable.
I related to the scene where he's raving/raging about the book to his parents too. Hell, I've done that before with my husband. lol! I've thrown books too when they've pissed me off. Never through a window though.
Just... how was he able to get away with not taking his meds for six months? For whatever reason I can't get over that.
Also, is he manic when he's released from the hospital? I couldn't really tell in all honesty.
