Phil..

My daughter became ill when she was 12or13 and it was a long hard battle. She went through many meds before she found the right combination (anti-depressants and anti-pyschotics. She also had one hospitalization and intensive therapy for a number of years. But there is hope.....

She is now 24, a college graduate, has a full-time job that she enjoys and nice boyfriend.

Was it hard work to get this far? Damn right! I was there for her, but she did all the work. I did all the worrying . And now she is reaping the rewards of working so hard and putting up with so much.

She no longer takes medication, but she definitely is aware of the warning signs that her illness might be returning and is able to ask for help.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask me here or PM me.
