Thanks bebop, Daniella, Petunia - I appreciate your support and I have no doubt that you understand.

I talked to my stepmom today. She said my dad was out mowing the lawn and was having a good time. She asked me if I thought it was worth putting him through treatment when in fact he feels fine - if we hadn't noticed it, he wouldn't have known anything was wrong with him. I don't know enough about it to say. He's going for a 2nd opinion on Monday, and I'd like him to at least go through that. Apparently my dad doesn't have an opinion about whether he should get treatment or not - he wants us to make a decision for him (which is odd in itself - he's always been a control guy).

I'm just glad that he's not in pain or seemingly very scared.
