I got an out of the blue call to come in for a job interview, last week, from an agency that I'd applied to last year. They were reviewing resumes that they had on hand, because they're recruiting, and wondered if I was still interested. I said I was.
It's for a one year internship to train to become a community support worker working in an agency that provides mental health services to homeless and low income women.
It would be a total career 180 for me, but I think I'd enjoy it.
I'm kind of excited about it.
