((((hugs))) I'm sorry you feel you aren't being heard and respected. Adults forget sometimes how to address younger ppl, especially if they feel they aren't being listened to.

It doesn't matter, imo, whether young or old, respect of another human being is paramount. You may disagree, but you don't need to yell at each other, cut off sentences (interrupt) etc. Sounds like there is a lot of stress in your home. If you can find a way, you might apologize earnestly, and see if that opens the door for a good discussion of your feelings on this. MAYBE they will also own up and try to find a way to communicate better?
