She hasn't helped so much with the personality disorder part, though. I don't know that I have a whole lot of symptoms per se. It's . . . hard to describe. It's like there is no "me" that I care about. Only that's not true, exactly. No wonder psychologists have resorted to listing symptoms in the DSM to try to get a handle on this stuff!

I think I'm going to start a thread in the complex PTSD forum on my theory that it is a combo of PTSD and PD. Doctors can't diagnose it for insurance purposes so perhaps that is how a professional can address it.
I'm starting to read about ASD because my partner may be dx with it and that's why I started thinking about what axis 2 is.
