I agree and I think often times what people call a narc may be fleas, however malignant narcissists are harmful. I don't think complex PTSD and NPD overlap, I was only speaking to c-PTSD and BPD based on my reading. I actually have compassion for people with narcissistic traits or even NPD as I know how they got that way: early childhood trauma. It's not their fault their development was arrested. That doesn't mean I let them hurt me however I also don't judge them. I think anyone can recover if they want to. I can't speak to malignant narcissism however and I recognize that is different .
