I think some people don't like me because I don't have the same sense of humor as others. I can never think of witty comments to say back, and I have a very hard time understand the things they find funny. I DO laugh at things, but they have things other people can't understand-like for some reason my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle stuffed toy with his crooked smile can make me laugh. I think of words I associate with a certain object, or ideas, like that he was going to go and work on Wall Street (it's funny for me, the thought of a stuffed toy, this one in particular, going out and getting a job) or other backwards things like my dog getting a job. Then when I tell someone else about it they don't understand.

What's strange is that I love shows like South Park and The Simpsons, but I pay more attention to the political meaning of it. Sometimes I do laugh only it's usually at other things, like the facial expression of the characters, rather than the actual jokes. I always think deeply about what they say, how it's supposed to be reversed, and those shows teach me a lot. I don't get offended by jokes, I usually just go into the deeper meaning of them and that seems to bother people.

But I can't make regular humor sound funny no matter how hard I try. I also get annoyed in Real Life when I'm being serious and someone says something smart-aleck because for some reason, it gets them attention. It's like they can't have a serious conversation. Then when I'm in a good mood and I'm laughing about something, I don't get to share it with others because they don't understand or think it makes sense.

So maybe that's why people are so drawn away from me, because they see me as dull and uptight.
