It might be beneficial also because I've been reading that different alters can have differing effects to like medication, check ups, and physical ailments, like a child alter physical reaction compared to an adult alter- if this is true. Freaky stuff. I do know that I have a higher pain tolerance then the others to the point that I can barely feel it. I've been punched and it felt like a thump, shot myself in the knee with a nailgun and was drinking a beer waiting for the ambulance, also broke my leg in four places but was more crying over the fact that I couldn't work for the next 3 months (never mind I was blitzed).
