I guess a jet a bit noisy, but you tune it out after like 2-3 minutes. The noisiest part is when you takeoff. That's it, really.

You could always get noise-cancelling headphones or ear plugs.

Airports can be noisy, but it depends on which one. Not all of them are noisy. For example, JFK and Boston are noisy most of the time. Newark and Baltimore, on the other hand, not so much...

If you go really early in the morning, at like 1am or 2am, everyone is sleeping on the seats. It's not noisy at all
