Well it is over and done now and highly likely it is all normal the doctor said though I am waiting for the lab to do the biopsies to confirm no cancer.The polyps are removed so the bleeding has stopped it shouldn't start up again.I am single too and almost through the menopause so don't need to worry about contraception.I haven't had a period since 2011 anyway!
