I thought it was interesting and very well-done as a piece of art film-making. But i thought it only did a good job of portraying depression. For me, it didn't do a good job of showing mania. I thought it would have been better if the left screen showed what he did at the times shown when he was manic and then you could see the contrast. I guess it would have been far more expensive and complicated to film because there would have to have been other actors showing the manic him being the life of the party and the general fireworks and adventures and mayhem of mania.
I thought "Touched With Fire" portrayed bipolar better. Mania was much more clearly shown in that film. This short film really was more about unipolar depression with just a few ineffective sentences about mania.
It was a good-quality film, tho, with lots of neat shots. The creator is very talented.
