I agree with Thunder Bow that you have poltergeist activity. This is usually caused by a living person who is unaware that they posses the ability to manipulate objects and whatnot with their minds. Usually the activity happens when the person is upset, angry, or very emotional.

The reason your phone froze up when taping the cord of your hair drier moving was because the electrical energy was being tapped into and drained from the battery, to feed and strengthen the energy of the person or persons who are responsible for the poltergeist activity and allow them to manipulate objects. It's a very common occurrence.

I would consult a medium or a healer to help you with your paranormal activity problem. Who knows, maybe it's you who has been the source of the poltergeist the whole time?

As for myself, I the latest on my mother's side of the family who posses unnaturally high levels of electrical energy within her body. My maternal grandmother had it, as does my mother. Whenever any of us wear a wristwatch, it usually stops working within a year. It usually takes 6 or seven months and the battery is dead as a doorknob, even if the watch is guaranteed to work for two years. I also experience lightbulbs popping at random times when I turn on the lights in any room in the house. The bulb goes "POP" really loudly with a bright flash, but doesn't shatter, and then goes dark and no longer works. It's like the filament within the bulb suddenly got overloaded and exploded. My mother says it's nothing paranormal, and that bulbs just do that sometimes, but it's happened to me over a dozen times since we moved into the house I'm currently living in now. It never ceases to startle me.
