Hello kreg: Well... the Skeezyks is in that 60's to 70's category you mentioned.

I've spent a lifetime dabbling in a little bit of this & a little bit of that... never accomplishing much of anything as a result of any of it except that I managed to spend quite a bit of money in the process.
I recall my mother telling me, many years ago, that when I was born my horoscope said I would have so many interests in so many different directions, if I wasn't guided with a strong hand, I'd jump from one thing to another & never accomplish anything. I wasn't & I didn't...
Lately, I've developed an interest in learning more about Buddhism, in particular the earliest Buddhist texts. At my age, I know I'll never become any kind of Buddhist scholar, so to speak. However, at least at the moment, I plan to learn as much as I can in the time I have left.

Hopefully, I won't change my mind again next week!
I recall reading, many years ago, one of these advice columns. A person who was older had written in asking if she was too old to start a four year academic program. She wrote that in four years she would be "X" number of years old. The columnist replied by asking: so... how old will you be in four years if you don't go to school?
