There is a wolf pack mentality among the general public. They believe there is safety in numbers, so they all bond together, leaving us, who simply want to be ourselves, to fend for ourselves and suffer. That is why everyone is trying to fit in, forcing themselves to listen to music that everyone listens to, and have sex with 100 different people, just so that they can fit the public image of those who "belong". Quite unoriginal, in my opinion
It's such a paradox ... what's the point of being like everyone else ?!!! It's almost like a disease that has pervaded the Earth. Everyone buys into it; they just cannot think for themselves. Some new "blockbuster" movie comes out ... "Oh, the world says this is awesome; hence, it is awesome ... we must head to the theater and watch it, so that we can tell the world, on Facebook, that we saw it the day it came out !!!"
