Phil, being smart is NOT a turnoff... to the contrary! But, I do have to say that you seem to be a pretty unhappy guy, and that generates attention primarily from girls who are into "fixing" guys. However, that's not really a healthy thing to be attracted to.

I know that it's not easy to just wake up one day and say "hey - I'm going to try being HAPPY! today", but what I find attractive in a guy is someone who is smart, positive and determined to create his own destiny. We all have a darker side, but that should be kept to a minimum for maximum attractiveness by girls who are looking for a boyfriend for the right reasons.
