May I vent for a moment?

I have insomnia as part of my bipolar disorder. Sleep is very important for me yet one of my biggest hurdles in managing my MI.

Great news. I'm sleepy! This is great.

However, I'm wracked with pain (neck and back). A 7 on a 1-10 scale. It's keeping me awake.

Anyone deal with this issue? I wish I could get my body and mind to cooperate so I can sleep.

I feel responsible, too. A triggering event earlier made my neck and back severely tense up. I didn't realize it as I was affected by the trigger. I think I could have prevented this high pain level if I'd had the awareness.

Does this happen to anyone here? Any tips?

Thanks for listening. I hope you all are hanging in there.
