Local Support Groups - Baltimore County

Conversely, you could go on Meetup.com and search for a support group. They are typically free for the first year. If there is no support group in your area that will meet your needs, you can create one and see if there are others who would join.

There are many books written on the subject of what is called, "Codependency". Prominent authors are: Claudia Black, John Gray, Melody Beattie and Pia Mellody. There may be others, but I am unsure. Caregiver burnout is well known and as has been said, you need to make time to focus on self care in order to be an effective caregiver.
