I don't think it is letting yourself go if you are wanting to let your hair grow out to its natural color (or non color)...it's a personal choice. one of my friends let her hair grow out to silver white and my X who had just met her and her husband made the comment that she must be much older than him (she's not) but it was the hair that made him think that. Call me vain, I figure if I can afford that $8 box of hair color, I am going to stay a blonde until 60. then maybe I will let it grow out...I am thinking Helen Mirren's color and style, she's beautiful! So I will probably still be coloring it, just so it will be consistent.
