But a while back I was put on Lamictal. After a few weeks I developed a rash. I called my pdoc's office & spoke with my pdoc's assistant. She said it was probably nothing & don't worry about it.
The rash kept getting worse so I went to see my GP. He diagnosed it as being Lamictal rash & sent me immediately to be seen by a dermatologist.

(As you may be aware, Lamcital rash can morph into a life-threatening condition.)

They took me off of the medication immediately!
So, the moral of this story is... don't presume that just because the doctor & nurse you're currently seeing don't know what's going on here that it's not serious. If necessary... see another doctor.
