Do you really have to visit him to get child support? That doesn't make any sense. You're still his kid, and he still needs to pay for you, but you can't be expected to visit an emotionally abusive father. Why don't you check and make sure you have to be visiting him to get that money, if you haven't already. I don't know where to check, but maybe someone else here does.
